The Parents Teachers Students Association raises money for equipment and activities the School would not be able to afford out of its normal budget and organises social events.
As financial pressure on the school increases the PTSA needs the support of more families to make it effective. It is affiliated to PTA UK and a registered Charity Commission charity, number 1167537 and therefore a tax efficient vehicle for raising funds.
There’s no equivalent of the primary school gate to help make the PTSA successful, but we can offer each other and the school a great deal, if as many of us as possible join in, or at least support it – any skill or time you can offer will make a difference. You might be able to make a one-off contribution, such as a couple of hours helping run a bar, or you might enjoy helping organise PTSA activities.
