Exam Results 2020

The Summer of 2020 ended well for our students, following a year that could certainly be described as unusual. 100% of students who gained offers for Oxford University had their places confirmed; congratulations go to Edie Parry who will be studying History, to Sumayyah Ibrahim who is looking forward to reading History and Politics and to Head Student, Katie Zhang who is studying Maths.

We are delighted that all students this year were offered one of their chosen places through UCAS. We are also very proud of students who achieved outstanding outcomes with Katie Zhang achieving 4A* (Oxford, Maths), Katie Strange also achieved 4A* and will be studying Law. Georgie Fulljames achieved 3A* (Edinburgh, Politics & International Relations), as did Sophie Bale (UCL, Law with Spanish), Lauren Fysh (Cardiff, Medicine), Lauren Walker (Warwick, Languages), Isabellla Walker (Birmingham , Languages), and Tom Morgan (Bristol, Civil Engineering).

Achieving 2A*s plus As were Sumayyah Ibrahim (Oxford, History & Politics), Sophie McLennan (Cardiff, Law), Kate Pearse (Southampton, Biomedical Science), Laurie Keech (Edinburgh, Scandinavian Studies), Clara Phelps (York, Music), Ellen Mulhern ( Cardiff, Law), Matilda Snook (Social Work),and Robbin Younger (UAL Bournemouth, Costume Design).

Hayesfield Sixth Formers have a diverse set of destinations! Lauren Fysh is heading to Cardiff to study Medicine. Students are off to study Engineering at various universities from Biomedical Engineering and Civil Engineering (Serena Ashley ,Charlotte Adams & Tom Morgan) to Matthew Jackson studying Mechanical Engineering in Plymouth. Our more creative students are also heading off to exciting opportunities with Molly Baddeley set to attend the Emile Dale Academy and Llewy Godfrey, the Actors’ Workshop. Artistic careers continue to be a key strength at Hayesfield with nine students pursuing Art Foundation courses as a precursor to higher education studies in Art.
