Uniform Reminders

When you are buying new uniform this summer holidays, please can you remember that we have the following expectations:

  • Skirts need to be of the ‘Charleston Drop Pleat’ style
  • Blouses need to be open revere collar style (and not a shirt with a top button)
  • Socks need to ankle or knee length in black or white only
  • Sturdy waterproof leather shoes – no trainers (please be careful as some uniform suppliers label black trainers are school shoes and these are not to be worn to Hayesfield)

Please do not allow your daughter to have her nose pierced after the recommended six week healing period. We do not permit girls to wear nose studs to school and this will need to be removed. Please also ensure that you daughter does not colour or cut her hair in any extreme style (eg, an unnatural colour or shaved sides) as these styles are also not permitted.

Our Parent Handbook, shown on the school website (found under Information, Admissions) shows examples of uniform so that you can make a fully informed choice.

New School Day

Our new school day will commence in September, with the main changes being that the tutorial period has been reinstated at the start of the school day. All of our students will then have lunchtime scheduled between 12.15 – 1.15pm. School will finish at 3.15pm and our LEAP provision at 4.25pm. The Bristol-Bus has been rescheduled accordingly.

As we have a one-hour lunchtime, there will be various activities taking place during this time and students will be given a specific lunch sitting. Please click here to see the timings for our new school day.

Yours sincerely
