Remember

Students who participate in fixtures must ensure that they are fully prepared with kit, a snack, drink, warm clothing and that they have ticked the team sheet (on the UOP notice board) if they are successfully selected for the school teams and let the club leader know if they are unable to play (please do not just cross your name off the list).

For Home Fixtures
Students should meet and change in the UOP changing rooms where they can leave their items in lockable lockers (refundable £1). Following fixtures students can be collected from the UOP campus.

For Away Fixtures
Students stay on the site they are on (do not commute), as we collect from both sites. Students must change promptly and be ready to leave ASAP. Students will be returned back to UOP only after away fixtures where there is an open reception and a member of staff on duty.

Under no circumstances should students leave lessons early for school fixtures unless they have been specifically informed to do so by a member of the PE team.

It is a real privilege to be selected for the school team and therefore all students who are selected to represent Hayesfield are expected to show the highest levels of effort, immaculate behaviour and excellent sportswomanship no matter the result.

Kit Expectations

A reminder to all students that Years 7-10 should be wearing the new style black and purple PE kit and Year 11 should be wearing either the old or new style PE kit for both their lessons and after school clubs. Leggings are only permitted for Years 10 and 11 and these should be plain black sports leggings. It is essential that students have their PE kit named as without this it cannot be returned to its owner.

Additional items which must be present for hockey lessons include a mouth guard and shin pads. Students may purchase a gum shield from the Hayesfield UOP PE office for £2 which must be moulded before lessons
