Red Nose Day Fundraising – Tuesday 21st – Friday 24th March 2017

We are proud to be supporting Red Nose Day. We will be getting ‘funny for money’ to support, with a range of fundraising events and challenges throughout the week.

Design Your Own Red Nose

Students in Year 7 – 9 are challenged to design their own Red Nose and enter it into our school competition. The sillier the better, or perhaps you want to reflect your house into the design. Entry sheets will be distributed through your tutor on Tuesday with the best noses picked (get it?) for our grand final competition on Friday.
Tuesday 21st – Friday 24th March in Tutor time – 20p donation

Teacher Twins

Hidden around the school all week are pictures of teacher face-swaps. Your mission? Find them all and work out the pair. Prizes to the first entries to reception on Friday with them all right. Ms Tilson with a beard is a site to behold.
From Tuesday 21st March – Brougham Hayes and Upper Oldfield Park

Sheer ‘Expedition’ism

Our Duke of Edinburgh students are ‘blazing the trail’ next week with a range of activities and events across the school. A full list will be published through tutors on Tuesday but we have been promised such silliness as ‘How many people can you get in a tent?’ and the ‘Sleeping Bag Race’.

On Thursday our Sixth Form House Captains will be running a cinematic comedy treat at lunchtime in W1 and W2. This has always been a big hit with the younger girls and is another great opportunity for our House Captains to support their School. Entrance at lunchtime is by a suggested donation of 50p.
Thursday 22nd March – W1/W2 – Lunchtime – All students welcome

Raging Red Regalia Mufti Day

On Friday we have our raging Red Regalia School Mufti Day with all students out of School uniform – and into Raging Red! No excuses. Prizes will be presented to the most imaginative use of the colour red.
Friday 24th March – All students welcome with a £1 donation

Get Your Own Back on the Teacher

So your teachers are very good sports and have agreed to be drenched as part of our ‘fun’draising as well as male members of staff having a much-needed leg-wax. Come along to watch the pain and punishment and try not to enjoy it too much.
Leg-wax – Roper Theatre – Wednesday 22nd March – Lunchtime
Drench the Teacher – Outside (it’ll be pretty obvious where) at Brougham Hayes – Friday 24th March

Fun Times at the Funfair

Our week of events culminates in our mini-fair in the Upper Oldfield Park Hall at lunchtime on Friday. There Year 7s will be setting up their stalls to sell cakes and fun activities for all. We are still looking for more volunteers so anyone who wants to help can talk with their House Reps to get involved.
Friday 24th March – Upper Oldfield Park Hall
