Riverford Cooking class at Hayesfield Thursday 28th February, Tuesday 12th March and Tuesday 26th March:
We’ve recently joined Riverford’s “Veg Fund” scheme: a fundraising and healthy eating partnership for schools.
Riverford’s local team, Vicki and Alan Mowat, will also be running a series of veg cookery evenings for parents. They’re fun and relaxed cookery workshops (including supper!) which give you chance to meet other parents while being inspired to make the most of seasonal organic vegetables and learning a few veg cookery tips. It’s just £10 for a 2-hour class, supper and a glass of wine – and all proceeds will go to the PTSA. You’ll also have the chance to take a look at Riverford’s vegboxes and it’s an ideal event if you’re thinking about getting a box and would like to find out more.
The workshops will take place in the Hayesfield Brougham Hayes Hall on Thursday 28th February, Tuesday 12th March and Tuesday 26th March from 7-9pm. Buy a ticket for the date of your choice via Scopay. There are only 10 tickets available for each date, so book quickly!
Riverford – the organic vegbox delivery company – will make donations to Hayesfield PTSA for new and existing customers linked to the school. If you start a regular order, Alan and Vicki will donate £25 to the PTSA once you’ve had three deliveries! Just go to www.riverford.co.uk and choose the box you’d like. Quote our school code SCH_BAT_HAYESFIELD when you check out, to make sure that the PTSA receive the donation once you’ve had three deliveries! If you’re already a customer, just contact Alan and Vicki directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell them that you’re linked to Hayesfield.
