Uniform Guidelines

ALL CLOTHING, SHOES, WATCHES AND OTHER PROPERTY MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED

Blazer	Black with purple braid and purple lining with Hayesfield Girls’ School logo – available from Scholars
Skirt or trousers	Skirt: Black, restricted to length 7cm below knee or 5cm above,with zip and waistband. Lycra skirts are not permitted Trousers: Girls may wear black uniform trousers. School uniform trousers should be full length, black, max of 2 hip pockets, with no turn-ups, and suitable to tuck a blouse into, a bottom leg width of 40cm maximum. Black jeans, leggings, sports wear, flares or hipsters are not permitted
Blouse	Open neck, with revere collar, in plain white with collar and buttons
Jumper	V necked black jumper with Hayesfield Girls’ School logo – available from Scholars
Socks	White/grey/black ankle or ¾ length
Tights	Plain black, not patterned Footless tights are not permitted
Shoes	Plain black - shoes must be sturdy, waterproof and have backs on them for reasons of safety. Trainers, boots and sandals are not permitted
Coat/Jacket/Anorak	Black or dark colour
Apron	Simple plain colour, cotton or similar for Design Technology
Drawing/Writing	Pencils/pens/rubber/ruler
Equipment	Maths equipment, Calculator, Colouring pencils, pencil case, reading book
House Badge	All students will be allocated to a House when they arrive at school in September. They will need to purchase a House Badge at a cost of £2.00 from the school
Jewellery	One plain ring. One necklace or locket may be worn inside blouse. If ears are pierced, one small ring or stud may be worn in each ear. Facial piercings are not permitted
Make-up and Nails	Nail varnish and false nails are not permitted. No make-up
Hair	Extreme hair styles and colours are not permitted. Hair must be tied back for Games and Technology lessons
