CAREERS – ACHIEVING AMBITIONS
Information for Parents/Carers/Students
Here are some useful resources to help you support your child on their career journey.
WIN Programme
WIN (Wessex Inspiration Network) is one of 29 regional partnerships within the UNICONNECT Programme. The WIN area covers B&NES, North Somerset and Wiltshire. The aim is to increase social mobility by raising awareness of Higher Education Opportunities and Progression Pathways for young people in specific geographic areas where HE participation is lower than expected, given GCSE attainment levels. (Higher Education (HE) includes any form of education that results in a level 4+ qualification. This includes University Degrees, Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and Degree Apprenticeships).
Students from Years 9 – 13 are invited to be part of the WIN programme. Two mini videos to explain The WIN and the support that can be offered on Youtube.
