HOUSE SYSTEM
Earhart
Earhart House, easily recognized by its vibrant green color, is one of the four houses at Hayesfield Girls’ School. Named after the pioneering aviator Amelia Earhart, the house embodies her spirit of determination and courage. Resilience is the core value that defines Earhart House, encouraging students to face challenges with fortitude, learn from setbacks, and persevere in their academic and personal journeys. It’s a value that inspires students to push their boundaries and always strive for their best.

Student Heads of House

Jemima
Earhart Head of House
Hi! My name is Jemima and I am the Head of Earhart House. I am very keen on running and introducing more house events for all students to partake in. I want to hear your ideas on how to improve Earhart house and make it as great as it can be.
I am so excited to be taking on this role, and make sure that you come to me with any queries or suggestions to boost our house

Emily
Charity Lead
Hi! I’m Emily, one of your community leads for charity over the next year.
I’m super excited to make positive changes around the school and build our community. It’s so important, now more than ever, to lend a hand to those in need and support our wider community wherever possible. I hope to establish close relationships with charities local to us and we would love to hear your input on which charities you want to work with.
If you have any ideas for fundraising, charities or if there’s any areas you want to see more of in your tutor times etc I’d love to hear your suggestions and try my best to make them a reality.

Ruby
Charity Lead
Hi, I’m Ruby and I’m one of the Communities and Charities leads.
As a team, Emily and I are very excited to make a difference, bring awareness to and help support local charities. We are especially keen to learn which charities are meaningful to Hayesfield students.
If you have any ideas for events, charities you’d like to support or any questions then feel free to come and find me, I am usually in the UOP open learning area.
