HOUSE SYSTEM
Parks
Parks House, distinguished by its bright orange color, is one of the four vibrant houses at Hayesfield Girls’ School. The house takes its name from the iconic civil rights activist, Rosa Parks, whose brave actions sparked a pivotal movement. Moral Courage is the cornerstone value of Parks House, inspiring its students to stand up for what is right, challenge injustice, and act upon their convictions, even in the face of adversity. This core value encourages students to develop a strong sense of integrity and to be fearless advocates for positive change.

Student Heads of House

Asia-Marie
Parks Head of House
Hello! My name is Asia-Marie and I’m Head of Parks House. My aim for my time in this role is to be a figure that you can come to with any queries you may have and I will work as hard as I can to make all your voices heard in the school community.
Come to me if you have questions about house/charity events, or if you have any ideas on activities to do as a house!

Emily
Charity Lead
Hi! I’m Emily, one of your community leads for charity over the next year.
I’m super excited to make positive changes around the school and build our community. It’s so important, now more than ever, to lend a hand to those in need and support our wider community wherever possible. I hope to establish close relationships with charities local to us and we would love to hear your input on which charities you want to work with.
If you have any ideas for fundraising, charities or if there’s any areas you want to see more of in your tutor times etc I’d love to hear your suggestions and try my best to make them a reality.

Ruby
Charity Lead
Hi, I’m Ruby and I’m one of the Communities and Charities leads.
As a team, Emily and I are very excited to make a difference, bring awareness to and help support local charities. We are especially keen to learn which charities are meaningful to Hayesfield students.
If you have any ideas for events, charities you’d like to support or any questions then feel free to come and find me, I am usually in the UOP open learning area.
