Character Education@Hayesfield

At Hayesfield, our key values are:

HG1 | Readiness and Respect
HG2 | Moral Courage
HG3 | Self-confidence
HG4 | Resilience
HG5 | Limitless Aspiration

The five Hayesfield values underpin our approach to character development at Hayesfield Girls’ School and Mixed Sixth Form. All staff are fully committed to ensuring our students leave us at the end of Year 13 as well-rounded individuals, confident, aspirational, respectful and kind. Our five values underpin everything we do, providing the bedrock of our tutorial programme and our approach to behaviour across the school. For more information on the behaviour system at Hayesfield click here.

At Hayesfield, we believe that our students embark on a Learning and Character journey when they join us in Year 7. The two areas are intertwined and support each other. Students who embrace the character development opportunities available to them at Hayesfield, develop the skills and attributes that enable them to excel in their learning journey.

The following, not exhaustive list, provides information on key areas of character education at Hayesfield.
