At Hayesfield we have a long tradition of offering the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to all our students.
The Bronze Award is offered to all Year 9 students, and usually around 100 of them take up the challenge each year. The Gold Award is offered to all Year 12 students, and usually around 60 of them take up the challenge each year. We also offer the Silver award for Year 10 students.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award offers young people the opportunity to get recognition for extra-curricular activities they undertake and to try new activities.
