Homework

Homework Summary

Years 7 – 9:

Maths x2, English x2, Science x2, Languages x2, Tech x1, History x1, Geography x1. Other subjects may set homework as necessary. Each homework will last approximately; Year 7 = 30 mins, Year 8 = 40 mins, Year 9 = 45 mins

Years 10 – 11:

Maths x2, English x2, Science x2, each option subject x2 (*where subjects are doubles there may only be one larger homework set), RS x1

Each piece of homework in Year 10 and 11 should normally take 1 hour to complete.

The homework timetable is flexible for subjects but should equate to between 7 to 12 hours per week in total.

There are peak times at certain points in the year where students may be required to spend longer on homework tasks.

Subjects may have an extended task (or coursework) which replaces the usual homework timetable for that subject.
