Hayesfield Girls’ School are looking to recruit a Casual Catering Assistant to cover the occasional absence of existing staff and cover busy periods as required, sometimes at short notice. This is a zero hours casual position.

Reporting to the Chef Manager, the primary purpose of this post is to assist in the kitchen and dining room and other areas where food is served. This will include the preparation of meals, food service, dish and utensil washing, general cleaning and other tasks associated with catering. The successful candidate will have an interest in food and ability to cook, be an excellent team player and be able to work to deadlines. An understanding of Food Hygiene requirements is desirable.

Hayesfield Girls’ School are looking to recruit a Student Support Assistant for 7.5 hours a week, term time only. The hours will be 12.15pm – 1.45pm Monday – Friday, although this could be subject to change depending on the needs of the School.

Salary: £ 9.00 – £9.18 gross per hour (£ 17,364 – £17,711 gross pa FTE) and membership to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher, the primary purpose of this post is to safely supervise the students during the lunchtime break so as to ensure their safety and good behaviour during this period. The post holder will also help to clear up after lunch, including wiping tables and clearing litter. The successful candidate will be friendly but assertive, punctual and reliable, be able to work alone and be willing to work in all weather conditions.
