U13 Football Vs Oldfield
Well done to our U13 football team who played a friendly against Oldfield this week. The team enjoyed some lovely play and friendly competition against their opponents. The team created some lovely chances and defended really well against a strong Oldfield attack.
The final score was 1-0 to Hayesfield. A huge well done to our Goal Keeper for the day Robyn 7EL who was awarded player of the match after some fantastic play!

U13 Girls’ County Final – Indoor Cricket Competition
Huge congratulations to the U13 Girls’ for reaching the Indoor County Finals. Having played two great rounds to get here we were feeling excited and confident going into this new experience. Sadly our unbeaten run came to an end on Wednesday 19th March. We were drawn against a strong Hazelgrove team who were well experienced at this level and were able to make quick runs off some tough bowling and fielding from us. We went into our batting having to chase a high total but just weren’t able to make the runs needed. The girls kept their heads up and encouraged each other throughout the competition and we were very proud of their attitude and determination. As a result our second match against Castle School was much closer but again we just fell short of their run total. We were able to watch some impressive cricket and pick up top tips ready for next year. We may be out of the indoor competition but cricket isn’t over for the year! Look out for our outdoor fixtures in terms 4 and 5.
U13 Cricket Team: Bella (7EL), Lucy (7SL), Charlotte (7PR), Grace (7SR), Isabelle (8PR), Farrah (8AR), Sofia (7PR), Holly (7SR).
U16 County Semi Final
Well done to our super u16 team who beat Wadham School 6-2 in the County Semi Final to secure a place in the final after Easter.
The team played really well and took an early 1-0 lead after 1 minute and 20 seconds! They went into the half time break 2-1 up, hopeful they could hold on for the final 40 minutes to progress to the final. The team eventually pulled away to a 6-2 victory with Theonie scoring 4, Tia 1 and Polly 1.
Player of the match was awarded to Theonie. We are so delighted that our U12, U16 and U18 teams all have progressed to the County Final with our U14 facing Castle School in their respective Semi Final on Monday.
