Following your successful application to our school, We are delighted to invite you to our Year 6 Parents’ Welcome Evening.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we will be holding this event as our very first Live Streaming Event, where we will cover all the material that we would normally present to you as a member of the audience in our Roper Theatre.
The live event will take place on Thursday 18th June, from 6.00pm – 7.30pm via Microsoft Stream. You will have already received an invite, and need to follow the instructions to join us.
We look forward to you attending this event.

Dear Future Hayesfield Girls
I am delighted that you are joining Hayesfield in September 2020 and you are now starting your journey to become a Hayesfield Girl.
I have made a little video for you to introduce myself to you and to share with you how much I am looking forward to meeting you. Our wonderful Year 7 students, led by two members of our Sixth Form, have also produced a welcome video for you to share what they think is special about their school.

Mrs Venables (Year 7 Pastoral Manager) has sent you your own copy of the ‘Who Am I’ Transition Project, which we ask you to complete over the Summer holidays. If you are at home and have time, you can even start this work during Term 6. The project helps us to find out more about you and it is important that you bring it with you on your first day with us in September. So that you can find out more about your new school we have also set you a ‘Virtual Treasure Hunt’ to complete. Why not set yourself a time goal and see how quickly you can find all the facts on our website?
You can find copies of these documents here:

The transition to secondary school will be rather different this year due to school closures and social distancing and we’re sorry that we will not get to meet you in person on the previously scheduled Induction Day in July. I am sure that you are already excited about coming to our school so we invite you to ‘virtually explore’ our School Campus. Our Deputy Headteachers, Mr White and Mr Powell have both filmed themselves, so that you can take a tour of our school buildings at Upper Oldfield Park and Brougham Hayes with them. Please click on the links to see them in action!
