Students, staff and families at Hayesfield Mixed Sixth Form are celebrating another outstanding year of A Level results, with the Class of 2025 setting an impressive benchmark for academic and personal achievement.

This year’s results demonstrate both the talent and dedication of our students and the unwavering support of our staff and parents/carers. An incredible 30% of all A-Level grades were A-A*, while 65% of all grades were at A*-B and an exceptional 87% were graded A-C*, significantly above the national average of 78%.

Over 95% have secured a place at one of their first-choice universities with popular destination courses including Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Geography, History, Law and Fashion and Textile design reflecting the remarkable breadth of talent across our Sixth Form.

Prestigious university places have been awarded to two students who are off to Cambridge, including Emily Hughes-Roberts who is going to read Law, and Amber Todman doing Classics at Cambridge, along with Ella Barker studying Law at the University of Oxford. Freya Capsey has secured a prestigious degree-level apprenticeship with Unilever.

Hannah Walsh is combining her artistic flair and technical skills embarking on an Architecture degree at the University of Liverpool. We also have a number of students going into the medical field ensuring we have future nurses, chiropractors, occupational therapists and paramedics. We are incredibly proud of the achievements of Assia Zubenko who joined us in Year 11 from Ukraine and has achieved amazing grades. She will be reading International Management with French at the University of Bath.
