In our refectories, we cook all our meals using local suppliers and fresh ingredients; we believe this is essential for the good health of all our students. It is important to have a healthy nutritional balanced diet to promote effective learning and wellbeing.
In addition to the high quality of our food we pride ourselves on the high standards of cleanliness in our kitchens. Both of our kitchens have been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 following an inspection by BANES Environmental Services. This is the highest rating that can be awarded to an organisation for food hygiene and reflects the high standards of cleanliness that our Catering Team work to on a daily basis.

Whilst we commit to not using nuts in the ingredients of food that we prepare, we cannot guarantee that our School is a nut free environment. There are occasions where we will serve food that is manufactured in an environment where there may be nuts present, so there may be traces of nuts in these items.
We ask our students, their parents and staff to not bring items containing nuts into School, to respect those in our community who have nut allergies.
