Primrose Bristol Bus
Primrose coaches will need to increase the 10-journey tickets from Keynsham, Saltford & Corsham and for all Sixth Formers by £2.50. Ticket costs from Bristol will remain the same as before.
This is effective after the Easter holidays from (Monday 19th April)
The service also has a new route which takes it along Pennyquick, past Haycombe cemetery and through Englishcombe lane – there will be new pick-up points along this route (£1 single, £2 return), so if you are interested in your daughter using this service do get in touch with them direct (Tel: 07379 009391 or email email@example.com).
The service will only survive if students actively use it regularly and the company is really appreciative of all the messages of support that have come through. Siblings that attend Beechen Cliff school will also be able to use this bus service.
First Bus Service
First Bus have advised us of a new X39S service that will be running from Monday 19th April for any school children travelling from Bristol to Bath. This is in response to requests for more seats at peak times and is in conjunction with a request made by the West of England Combined Authority and the local MP Kerry Mcarthy.
Buses will accept usual First tickets. To come from Bristol students will need to buy a West of England zone ticket. This has the advantage that they can use the ticket on any First bus on our network. They have advised the school that they would prefer that student bought their tickets on our M Ticket App.
Full details on ticket prices can be found on their website https://www.firstbus.co.uk/bristol-bath-and-west
They will also run a bus in the afternoon later on a Wednesday.

Park & Stride
As part of our efforts to create a safer environment for our students, staff and parents we are actively encouraging parents to consider where they drop their children off in the mornings and where they collect them in the afternoons. Some parents stop outside the school buildings and cause a significant hazard for all road users and pedestrians. Please ensure you drop your daughter at a safer place and allow her to walk a short distance to the school buildings. We encourage all parents to use the Homebase Car Park as a drop off and collection point and allow their daughters the chance to Park & Stride using the crossing point at the junction of Lower Bristol Road and Brougham Hayes. Please help us to make the environment safer for everyone.
